Your initial consultation is free.  It includes your tasting of requested samples and a detailed session where we will discuss the design of your cake and other contractual details.   You will be provided with a preliminary contract, dates for all balances due and a receipt for monies paid.

 

A non-refundable deposit amount of 40% of the final cost is due at the time the contract is signed.  This is used to hold your date and does go towards your final balance.

 

Any changes made after the contract signing can result in additional charges.  Any changes made within three (3) weeks of the event will be subject to additional fees. 

 

All balances are due within 45 days of hte event date unless other arrangements are specifically made.  These arrangements will all be made at the signing of the contract.

 

Checks can be made out to Veronica Yoshida or Southern Gold Leaf Cakes. Any returned checks will result in additional costs - return check fee plus any additional  fees charged by the bank.

 

All deliveries that are local (within 20 miles) are free.  After that $1.50 per mile one way will be charged.  Set up and arrangement is free.  Special on-site decorations, such as fresh flowers, are included at no extra charge if provided and previously agreed upon.

 

Special cake stands, separators, false tiers, et cetera are available for a rental fee and refundable deposit.  All rentable items are due back within three (3) days after the event unless other arrangements are made.   All items must be returned in teh same condition as they were received - like new.  All broken, parial pieces or non-returned tiems will result in loss ofhte total deposit.
